State Commerce Department releases its 2019 "Human Trafficking Laws and Investigations" report

The Office of Crime Victims Advocacy and Public Safety of the Washington State Department of Commerce conducted four day-long trainings, including segments led by an Assistant Attorney General, last year for 168 people, including law enforcement professionals and court workers. “The training program demonstrates effectiveness in increasing awareness and knowledge about anti-trafficking laws, investigations, adjudication of cases, interdisciplinary coordination and diverse populations affected.”
